Dubai Day Trip: Oman's Majestic Musandam Fjords Cruise

A fantastic day out, with stunning scenery. Was contacted at the point of booking for passport details and the day before to inform of pick up time. The drive was prompt and friendly. As for the boat trip, we were lucky enough to have dolphins follow our dhow boat into the area. Food was lovely and opportunities to swim, snorkel and kayak. Thank you.

We booked on a Sunday that happened to be the day of the annual Dubai run. The driver couldn’t reach us not get to our hotel so after 50 minutes of calls we walked through the nearest Metro station to his car. After another half hour to pick up the third passenger we were off on our 3 hour commute. The boat ride was fun. Saw lots of dolphins and stopped twice for snorkeling. Water was warm but murky. Saw many fish but not colorful in murky seas. We were thinking maybe this long day was worth it. But another 4 hour return (30 minutes out of our way to drop off one other passenger) convinced us that this 14 hour day was not worth it. This was our second trip to Dubai and it will be our last.

Truly great door to door experience! They took care of everything from transport, border crossing paperwork, delicious lunch, snorkeling, dolphins, fishing, opportunity to go to land & walk around as well, with incredible views of the Oman coastline! 1000% recommend this specific tour over others posted & the guide Nandhan with Aladdin Lamps Tours was especially fantastic, catering to every need, question, request & truly caring about giving his guests the best experience possible. There’s a 2-3 hours drive & back, to get to the port. Then you’ll spend the day on the water in nature relaxing or doing activities. But it’s an all inclusive doable day trip from Dubai & worth it to get to experience nature & see another country while in the area.

I have been two khasab many times and it’s each time it’s gets more interesting .This time I went with two tourists from Chicago who were visiting UAE.Mr David and Madame Corrine had an awesome time in Khasab fjords of Sultante of Oman.While going I told them I will show you the real country side ,small fishing villages.We saw many dolphins,did snorkeling,kayaking and swimming.The whole crew was very caring and considerate.Special Thanks to Nandhu from Aladdin Lamp and Boat crew Badusha,Eisa and Ismael.Captain Eisa and Ismaeel made the boat ride memorable.They went out of their way to make us happy.Unforgettable journey The lunch and over all hospitality in the boat was great

Great day trip option from Dubai. Excellent transfer service and they handled all the border paperwork in advance. Boat is relaxing and offers two good opportunities to get out and swim. Scenery is superb.

This was the highlight of my trip. Really wonderful experience. Great guide and captain. Would highly recommend. I loved seeing the fjords, dolphins and tropical fish. The service was excellent.

Firstly it was like traveling back in time being in a Persian carpet bottom dhow! Our group was small, 12 tourists and 2 crew. Very little common language but very pleasant group. Yes the water was gorgeous. Swimming and snorkeling among schools of yellow finned and electric blue fish. Dolphins playing in our wake for long periods. Wow! The 1 shipmate was wonderful, bringing around fruits and cold drinks repeatedly as well as preparing a beautiful lunch. We came across a very large group of cormorants, estimated 2,000-6,000. Really really exceptional and creating a special life long memory.

This was a great and welcome day out from the frenetic pace of Dubai. Everything ran smoothly. A 6.30 start from our hotel , quite doable , and with one other pick up we were on our way up through the other emirates to Oman . Don’t see too much from the motorway but could spot plenty of camels the further north you went . Not usually one for 6 hr boat trips but this was done very well . Well fed and watered with plenty of activities .If you’re going on one of these trips make sure you’ve got the one with the border taxes included . Also make sure you’ve got the trip that goes to Khasab not Dibba as I think some of those billed as boat trips do not land on Omani soil . They just travel up the coast .

We had the best time on this trip! The boat trip was so comfortable and peaceful, the views were absolutely stunning with the fjords and the incredible color of the water, the food was great, there was fishing. We saw a bunch of dolphins and the snorkeling was great as well. Our guide Nandhan was the absolute best! Would highly recommend and definitely do this again - thank you so much for such an amazing day and experience!!
