Carla did a great job of explaining everything and made our trip fun. The other guide Leslie was also very entertaining. The winery is a nice break from the crowds.

Great photo opportunities at montserrat. Well organized tour accomodating our request for a vegetarian lunch, which was very good along with a brilliant wine tasting . Lina, the excellent guide made it a memorable experience

Our guide Judit was charming, knowledgeable and funny. She gave us good suggestions on how to get the most out of our free time at Montserrat. The Basílica was very busy on this holiday weekend in December, so we only had 10 min to see the interior and visit the organ which seemed a bit rushed. We thoroughly enjoyed the food at lunch and also our visit to the winery, which is a beautiful setting. We had the bonus of a spectacular sunset. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

Really enjoyable tour with Ivan seeing both the monastery and winery. Ivan did an excellent job taking us through the wine tasting.

Our family of 4 enjoyed breathtaking views at Montserrat and enjoyed delicious wine and views at the winery. Lesly was a fantastic guide! She was informative and entertaining at both stops. Highly recommend Lesly and this tour!

Vince is just amazing! He was very knowledgeable and passionate about Montserrat, wines and Catalan history in general. He was funny and energetic and made sure everyone was safe and having fun. We were a group of five- two teenagers, a couple and a grandma. We all had a wonderful day with him. His open and democratic philosophy toward wine is very welcoming! I’d take any tour with him!

An excellent ecperiance and probably my favourite tour we did in barcelona ! Sofia was a great guide and the whole experiance was amazing - it was such a spectacular day and it was great to experience the mountain, vineyards and counrty side of spain !

From the outset, Castle Experience made the checkin process easy with clear directions. The coach was clean and modern. While we were allocated a guide for our excursion, Ale (Alejandro), the trip to Montserrat had three groups and all the guides worked together to give a smooth, informative and fun journey. On arrival at the site, Ale took our group on a walking tour of the Basilica and surrounds. He was organised, knowledgeable and fun. The lunch was excellent as was the included wine. Ale did our wine tasting and again knew his subject well. I could not recommend Castle Experience highly enough. It was a superb fun day in an amazing location. Alejandro was a magnificent guide, as were all the other guides that worked with him.

Berta was an excellent tour guide. I would recommend her any day of the week. The tour was amazing as well. Incredibly well coordinated and efficient.

- The tour is conducted in English.
- Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
- The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. For reduced mobility, contact us before booking to discuss arrangements.
- Infants (3 years or younger) join free of charge but are not provided with car seats or meals.
