Exclusive Molokini Zodiac: Snorkel & Turtle Encounter

Cat and Esteban were true gems. We had so much fun while also learning a lot. They were helpful, joyous, funny, and so knowledgeable. We had a blast! Definitely a highlight of the trip!

My wife and I are hosting a work group on Maui. We have snorkeled Molokini Crater more times than we can remember We have usually booked the large boats. The experience on the smaller Zodiac was amazing. Faster, more personal, less bodies in the water, and all of the necessities. We will never go back to the cattle boats. Captain Esteban and Jade were wonderful. We made an extra stop at a turtle cleaning station and had 4 turtles in view at one time. After snorkeling the crater, they took extra time to follow two whales and a pod of dolphins. Expectations exceeded!

From start to finish, this was a great experience! The scones and lunch were delicious! The snorkel gear fit great and the boat was comfortable, spacious and fast! The crew, Captain Brad and Esteban, were friendly, fun, upbeat and super knowledgeable! Couldn’t recommend this more!

Loved going out with Ryan and Esteban! Super chill guys. Had chips, turkey sandwiches, soft drinks. Had a small group and got to snorkel the BACKSIDE of the crater which was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Never experienced anything like it. Saw lots of fish and even green sea turtles! Would go out with them again for sure.

Highly recommend!! This is probably the best snorkeling tour I've ever been on (and I've done quite a few snorkeling tours in Hawaii). The size of the boat and group was perfect. The captain was very knowledgeable and kept us laughing with stories about the island. And they did the tour in such a way that the sites were never overcrowded and we got to enjoy the wildlife in relative peace. The sites themselves are also really cool. We saw several turtles, all kinds of fish, and a sea cucumber!

We booked this tour specifically because of the smaller boat experience and after seeing the other larger boats in the harbor, we were glad we did. The team that led our tour were friendly, accommodating, and fun, with a focus on safety. The only downside of the entire day was me getting sick from swallowing too much salt water before my mask was fixed. But that's not their fault and in fact, they helped me figure out why it wasn't fitting right. We were out in the water for just the right amount of time and everyone on board had a blast listening to the music, riding along the waves, and feeling the sunshine.

This was BY FAR the best snorkeling I have ever done! Sea turtles are my spirit animal so I was excited for the mere chance to see a few from afar. Boy, was I blown away! Not only did we see several turtles from the boat, when we snorkeled at our first stop we saw maybe a dozen underwater. We were warned ahead of time that law prohibits us from being within 10 feet of the turtles. I had no idea that several times I would have to gently move further away from the turtles as they surfaced mere feet away from me!!! It was incredible! And the snorkeling at the crater itself was amazing! I have never seen such clear, gorgeous water and the variety of sea life! Oh my! The coral backdrop that gradually got shallower as you got closer to the crater was breathtaking! I even enjoyed learning about the birds that were nesting on the crater itself. The crew was amazing and SUPER helpful. Always asking if we needed anything and making sure we were comfortable. There were plenty of yummy snacks, food and drinks provided. Would return and do this same excursion in a heartbeat! Oh and be on the lookout at the marina. We saw several turtles in the rocky area in the marina once we returned from the excursion.

We had an absolutely amazing experience on the Molokini Crater Zodiac Adventure today with Captain Ryan and Estabon. They were both fantastic guides—knowledgeable, friendly, and made everyone feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. The snorkeling at Molokini Crater was stunning, with crystal-clear water and so many colorful fish. But the highlight of the day was definitely swimming alongside sea turtles—it was truly magical and something I’ll never forget. Everything was well-organized from start to finish, and the smaller Zodiac boat made the experience feel more personal and adventurous. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Maui—it’s the perfect mix of excitement, beauty, and unforgettable moments.
