The experience and guide, Carl were the absolute highlight of our excursions. The fun facts and expectations were great and kept you engaged. He went out of his way to meet each one of us while walking and got to give us reviews on nearby restaurants and shops. The knowledge that Carl gave to us was above board and showed his passion for his job. It truly was amazing the things Carl knew and pointed out to the group. You could tell his passion was history and art! We would have loved to have Carl as our guide for other tours!! He was engaging, funny, and most of all knowledgeable without being boring. I would recommend this tour because of the reverence, amazement, and history of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. I'm not sure if you can ask for Carl but I'd hate for you to miss out on all the fun he offered and comfortable asking questions.

Skipping the line enhanced the experience allowing time for the guide to explain details of what we viewed. Unfortunately the audio was spotty and some interpretations were lost ( not the guides fault). We felt rushed in the museum, the background information was great but there was so much to see in the time allowed.

The skip the line tour is well worth it to avoid the long lines waiting get to get in. Our tour guide was informative and entertaining. This tour is highly recommended.

Great experience. The museum is breathtaking. I felt a little rushed at times & wished some murals were explained a little more but our tour guide was very nice & organized.

Joya was a great, knowledgeable guide on this well organised tour. It was great to skip the long lines and easy to hear Joya, with the ear pieces provided. Very interesting information. Time at the end to enjoy the Basilica freely. Highly recommend.

- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Unforeseen events= The Vatican is its own country and therefore the Pope can decide also last minute to close St. Peter’s Basilica for ad hoc events. It is a very rare event during the year but it is possibile and we will do our best to inform you. If it is too late to inform you, our guide will extend the tour in the Vatican. Not to worry that the incredibile collection of Vatican Museums and the masterpiece of Michelagelo in the Sistine Chapel will still be included.
