Vatican VIP: Skip-the-Line Sistine Chapel & St. Peter's Tour
A holiday in Rome without visiting the Vatican is like a day at the beach without swimming in the sea. See the best of the Vatican museums and gain direct entrance with skip-the-line access to the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica, while our excellent guides entertain you with stories that go with each masterpiece. This budget-friendly tour is the best value for money for travelers that are interested in 1) seeing the museum’s highlights 2) meeting a new friend or two through your group and 3) skipping the lines (trust us, with over 6 million tourist spilling into the museum every year, you'll want it!) Disclaimer: you will be entering the Vatican museum during one of the busiest times of the day. While the tour provides skip-the-line access, the crowds in the museum vary from day to day and some delay with security can be expected (it would be misleading for other tour operators to not tell you this!)

Just an amazing experience. To learn all of the history while on our tour was great!! If it is your first time I would definitely recommend it instead of wandering around on your own. Truly amazing!!

I had a smooth experience booking a guided tour of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica. Alex D. was very knowledgeable, and friendly and did an amazing job!! 👏😊

Great fun! We got right through the line. Andy was lots of fun. He was informative but also funny. He took great care of my mom who is 80. He was always helping her find places to sit.

Guide very knowledgeable. However we spent about 30 minutes in a hallway by Ancient Roman soldier, just talking. Went in doors and he talked about Michaelango. It seemed we raced through the remainder of the museum. I really didn’t like that he didn’t take us in St Peter’s Bascilica. We had to go on our own. With little instruction on how to get back to our destination

It was disappointing. Lara was very knowledgeable about everything, but she had such a strong accent that very few people in our group could understand what she was saying. But worst than that, we did not have a guided tour of St Peter’s Basilica, which we paid for. Did she run out of time? It was very disappointing, and Viator did not live up to it’s excellent reputation on this occasion. Patrick Segar

Our tour guide Velicia was very knowledgeable and engaging. She was attentive and careful to make sure we were all together and had a good experience. The sites were awesome to see. Would have liked more access to bathrooms and time to shop.

If you’re going to visit the Vatican and the Sistine chapel, these tickets are a must the skip the line shaved off about four hours of us standing in lines in November. There were literally thousands of people in line and we walked right past you still have to go through security, but that took about 15 minutes from start to finish our tour guide. Giovanni was phenomenal. He was just a wealth of information was friendly answered questions promptly and was very well spoken in English and made everybody feel welcome in our 20 person group for the day. If you have the option of taking this tour, we bought ours through GetYourGuide and it was worth every penny we spent the Vatican and Sistine Chapel are just marvels that have to be experienced pictures. Don’t do them justice.

Alessia was kind and very informative! Appreciated the short cut perks of having a guide as well as the tips she gave. Highly recommend!
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Unforeseen events= The Vatican is its own country and therefore the Pope can decide also last minute to close St. Peter’s Basilica for ad hoc events. It is a very rare event during the year but it is possibile and we will do our best to inform you. If it is too late to inform you, our guide will extend the tour in the Vatican. Not to worry that the incredibile collection of Vatican Museums and the masterpiece of Michelagelo in the Sistine Chapel will still be included.
- Most of our tours include the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. However, there are two specific options with different inclusions. You will find below:
- Museums & SISTINE CHAPEL Tour – Includes the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel but does NOT include St. Peter’s Basilica.
- ST.PETER'S BASILICA TOUR – Includes St. Peter’s Basilica but does NOT include the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.
