It was very difficult to find the group. The train station there is very large and there were multiple entrances. We almost missed the tour. Luckily the lady who was there, walked us down and we met the group right outside the Colosseum and we were able to get in with group . Scott, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and kept everybody together although the crowds were huge. It’s a very long tour and lots of walking and hills but totally worth it. Fascinating place and well worth the money.

Our tour guide is excellent and was mindful of the ones who are slow in walking. She knows exactly the right spot to get a good view and take pictures during the tour.

Excellent tour of the Colosseum and Palatine Hill. Our tour guide was Henry, who was a very friendly and welcoming chap. This tour was a skip the queue tour and was well worth the money. Henry was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour fun for us. The views were breathtaking and historical information was interesting and quite shocking. Spoiler alert: there was a lot of death and misery. There was 12 of us in the group and I do think Henry could’ve done with a sheepdog to keep us rounded up as even though it was a weekday morning, it was excessively busy even for November. A few things to note for anyone planning a tour. If you have mobility issues this is not the tour for you. There’s a lot of walking. The ground is extremely uneven, stony and gravelly. The Romans also loved building steps that are steep and uneven. There are very few restrooms in the locality which affected Henry’s timing of the tour, so forget that latte before the tour starts!

The tour was very insightful as well as informative. It was very eye opening. It was fascinating to find out how ancient Rome morphed into modern Rome.

Sylvia was our tour guide for the day, she was amazing. Very informative and passionate with doing what she does. You can tell she loves it. Highly recommend this tour especially with Sylvia.

Colosseum is a must see in Rome. Yes is filled with tourists but it is a wonder. This tour was small group which is nice. Beautiful.

This was such a great tour. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome. Our guide was Sylvia and she was so impressive. She was energetic, knowledgeable and very qualified as an archeologist on the site. What a great value and great experience.
