Francois was an incredible guide. He knew as much-if not more- than the guides at the vineyards we stopped at. The tour was exceptionally well planned, from the easy pickup in central Bordeaux to the thoughtfully chosen stops throughout the day. Francois was extremely knowledgeable, not only about the specific regions we visited, but about wine overall. From exploring vineyards south of Bordeaux to traveling east into Saint-Émilion—visiting both the town and two vineyards—every part of the experience felt intentional. The highlight was a wonderful stop at a second-generation, family-run vineyard (Systey) paired with a delicious picnic. It was truly a day well spent. Francois was also very accommodating, adjusting the schedule to move up a tasting at our request, which we greatly appreciated. He even gave amazing recommendations within the city of Bordeaux including a wine bar and a delicious duck restaurant that we visited. It was truly a wonderful day !

Excellent wine tour. Our guide was a sommelier who was very knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed going to small wineries and talking with the winemakers.

We booked a private tour with Bordeaux Wine Trails for our wedding anniversary, and it was just perfect. Our sommelier guide Jon was fun, knowledgeable, and made the day feel relaxed. The highlight was a barrel tasting with the winemaker in a very small estate — we loved it so much we shipped wine home to the US. Lunch at a lovely local restaurant was delicious, and the whole experience felt intimate and beautifully organized. Must do! Thanks!!! Sue

My wife and I decided to go on the full day wine tour while on our honeymoon in Bordeaux. Gilbert did an exceptional job of not only taking us to lovely Chateaus but also explaining the rich history of the area. We both highly recommend this experience to anyone traveling through Bordeaux.

Gilbert was a fantastic guide, so personable, interesting and very accommodating!! We had a group of 9 ranging in age from 11 months to 70+ and Gilbert was concerned that we were all having the best possible experience! His knowledge and ability to communicate far exceeded my expectations. I would highly, highly recommend as a tour guide!

We had a wonderful day with our guide Gilbert! 3 great wine tours, tasty picnic lunch and a bit of shopping on a sunny and warm October day! Gilbert is so knowledgeable and spoke perfect English for our group. We made a friend today! Highly recommend Gilbert and this company.

Clement was a fantastic, friendly and cheery tour guide. Very knowledgeable with experience in the wine industry. We went to three very different vineyards and met winemakers of large, medium and small scale producers. We especially loved the family run biodynamic vineyard in the St Emilion Montagne appellation. The time in St Emilion was beautiful.

We had the absolute pleasure of touring with Gilbert, and he was outstanding from start to finish. His storytelling brought history and culture to life in such a captivating way—every stop felt meaningful because of the fascinating details he shared. Gilbert has a real gift for making you feel transported into the past while keeping everything fun and engaging. Beyond his incredible knowledge, Gilbert also made sure we were always comfortable and well cared for. He paid attention to every detail, checked in often, and created a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout the entire tour. We never felt rushed, and he struck the perfect balance between sharing insights and giving us space to soak in the experience. If you’re looking for a guide who combines passion, professionalism, and genuine care, Gilbert is the one. He truly made our trip unforgettable, and we can’t recommend him highly enough!
