Sacred Andes: 8-Day All-Inclusive Machu Picchu & Cusco

Our tour manager, Yamile from Chili’s Travel Perú was very good and helpful. She is very responsive and knowledgeable. The tour itself went well and most of the tour guides are nice. We like all the programs it included.

We have been Viator's customers for a long time. The tours we booked at Europe were quite ok. But this time was a big dispointment. I thought we would have a tour guide with the group through the 8 day tour. The fact was my husband and I were signed to different tour company at day by day base. It seems Chullos Travel did not know where to sign us until late of the day, once even after 9pm. It was massy and very stressful for us, and quite a few hiccups. Everyday, different tour guide asked our hotel location, sometime requested us to walk 7 minutes to the main square to meet. 1st day, according Viator's web info, the city tour starts at 2pm. Chullos agent messaged me before 11am, did not say anything about time changing. I told her that we would have some rest after got up at 4am to catch the plane from Lima. Before noon time, she messaged me about picking up at 12:30 pm. We were sleeping and did not see the messages. At 12:35pm, somebody from a tour company called us from hotel front desk and asked us to get down asap. We got down but the bus has left. We had to walk a long way to meet with the group. On the day we took train to MachuPichu, the hotel staff supposed to meet us at the train station but never showed up. Chullos did not tell us the name of the hotel. I had to turn on roaming to get the hotel name, and a police officer sent us to the hotel (The train station is in a big market, Google does not work there). Chullos agent failed to get the hotel to apologize to us. Day 7, Viator web says picking up time is 7pm. But Chullos told us it was 4:45am. Day 5/6/7 tour was run by Chullos, picking time was all around 4:30am, totally exhausted. The food is terrible, the eating place is a big shack, feel like refuge camp. The same day tours Chullos sell on their website is half price of Viator website. So we got the service at the level of half price we paid for. Most tour bus tour guides refuse to turn on the heating and air conditioning, insisted keeping the driver's windows open on the dusty dirt road. Day 5, our backpack was covered with a thick layer of dust when we took it down from top shelf. Because we booked this package, we had to stay at 3 star hotels, the condition is not good and breakfast is awful. After this trip, I realize there is no need to book this package with Viator and there is wasting time to spend 8 days in Cusco area. You can book your own hotel in Cusco, just book a MachuPichu tour (in advance) and a Rainbow Mountain tour ( the day before is ok) with local tour agencies. 4 days in Cusco area is enough. Hope this review will help fellow travelers. Unfortunately, there is nobody mentioned these in their review when I read reviews for this package.

Chullos is our ground handler which did a good job in the whole arrangement, hotel is clean & comfortable, esp Katia giving us daily updates, assist with our queries and help us in our accommodation situation, this is a compact package to see these awesome sights, i really enjoyed it

Chullos Travel handled our trip, Katia is awesome sending daily updates, replying to our queries and assist on our accommodation situation, she is the factor that make our good experience. This itinerary is compact which is good to see the most in a week, sure there are tough days at rainbow mtn n humantay lakes, but don't miss it as there are motor and horse option, recommend it!

We were 2 couples on a 8-day trip to Cusco with all hotel & tour arrangements handled by Chullos. We had a great experience overall. Above everything Chullos is very reliable - you get what they say you will get at the right time at the promised quality with no issues whatsoever. The tours and tour guides were all uniformly of a high quality, as was the hotel we stayed in. Katya from Chullos who took care of us was fantastic. We never met her in person, but she was perpetually with us on WhatsApp telling us about our schedule, what to expect m, what to take with us etc. She was also flexible - we had to change our schedule a couple of times and she was highly accommodative. The only area of improvement I would highlight is how they accept payment. MoneyGram did not work after much trying and there were extra charges for other options. In all this was a first world tour experience at very affordable prices. I would readily recommend to any Cusco traveler.

This trip was absolutely amazing, we were very pleased with the coordination, stays, guides and with the staff by the name of Katia that was super friendly, clear, and always responsive to every single question we had. We felt welcomed and appreciated by every one there. There was ups and downs but that has nothing to do with company. Great agency to have your vacation in Peru 🇵🇪 make sure you book it, you will not regret it.

This trip was 100% amazing. I went with who was my boyfriend and became my fiancé on this trip. We learned so much, saw so much and within 8 days truly felt like we got to know Cusco which is such an honor. Katy was our travel agent with Chullos and she truly amazing, answered all of our questions at any hour. 10/10 customer service! We also got to be guided by Romelo and Ronal during our tours and both were above and beyond amazing. Ronal literally took my partner and I to a secluded area of Machu Picchu and took the most amazing surprise video for me. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and this trip made me know it’ll be a twice in a lifetime opportunity because I HAVE to see more! You will not regret booking this tour (:

It's amazing what this tour company accomplished. For so many days of arranging transportation (which involved vans, trains, and buses), tickets, hotels, breakfasts and lunches, it's astonishing how well it all worked. We had no issues at all with being able to finish visiting one site and being ready and on-time with a train ticket for the next. The tour company messaged me on Whatsapp daily to make sure all the details were in place, and it was easy to pull up bus and train tickets that they sent on my phone (I would definitely recommend having a phone that can access data so that messaging apps like Whatsapp are possible). And then, of course, the actual sites. Every site is as gorgeous as the postcards imply they are. The tour guides told us a ton of information in both English and Spanish about all the sites and answered all our questions. Such interesting history here, what an honor to be able to see it all in person. A few things to note about some of the excursions: All of the tours visit absolutely amazing places and all of the tour guides had a ton of interesting information about them. But as a note about our experience: I am 32 years old and in average health for my age, and I brought my 67-year-old mother, who is also in average health for her age. Some of these tour sites are at extremely-high altitudes (Rainbow Mountain is 17,000 feet above sea level) and require up to two and a half roundtrip hours of walking, so know your limits. Sometimes you can rent horses to help with the distance, so bring extra cash to rent them if walking (sometimes at relatively-steep inclines) might be an issue for you. My mother and I had no problem walking around most of the sites including Machu Picchu itself, but Humantay Lake and Rainbow Mountain were quite difficult for us both (I managed to walk Rainbow Mountain without a horse, but I needed a horse for Humantay Lake). Overall though, we had such an excellent experience with this tour company and with the beautiful locations. Definitely recommend for making the most of your trip around the Cusco area.

My friends and me enjoyed our trip to Machu Picchu with Chullos Travel. We were met at the Lima airport who welcomed us and took us to our hotel. Given the information of the area in which we stayed. The next day we were transferred to the airport and then we met again with the Cusco staff and headed to our hotel. He had excellent guides in Cusco and Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. They were all great and the hotels staff were very helpful and nice. Thanks Peru, Chullos Travel a great trip.
