Très agréable visite guidée gratuite d'une heure des jardins botaniques par Walk Darwin, financée par le gouvernement. Ce n’est pas une visite botanique sérieuse, mais une vue d’ensemble rythmée avec une histoire sur les jardins et des conseils sur d’autres sections susceptibles d’intéresser l’hôte. Nous convenait parfaitement.

Une promenade d’une heure dans la chaleur n’était pas quelque chose que j’avais prévu mais très heureuse que nous ayons pris la visite. Le guide était compétent et intéressant et nous marchions à un rythme facile à suivre.  Très agréable, tout comme la boisson fraîche au café après.

Robin led us on a 2 hour walking tour introducing us to the Botanic Gardens. She was very informative and absolutely delightful. She shared lots of interesting tales and experiences and certainly knew her plants! It was a hot afternoon so we kept to the shade but we will definitely be back to explore more.

The best way to explore the Darwin Botanic Gardens. John, our guide, knew a great deal, not only about plants but about the history of the gardens. He took us to places I would not have found without John's guidance.

We both really enjoyed the wide variety of plants that were on display. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative.

A perfect afternoon having a guided tour of the tropical gardens with inside information and Darwin folklore. Our guides were Rachel and John, both providing excellent commentary on various trees and history of the area. I would highly recommend this tour, even for people who aren’t avid gardeners. Wear comfortable shoes, a hat and take plenty of water.

We did two tours with Walk Darwin during our short stay in Darwin, the ‘Meet the plants walk’ through the Botanical Gardens with Nerida and the ‘Hidden Secrets of Darwin walk’ with John the following day. Both walks were casual yet super informative and we learnt things we definitely would not have gained on our own. We enjoyed our walks throughly and would highly recommend for anyone looking to gain a further understanding of the history and stories of these fascinating places.

A pleasant walk around the gardens with a passionate Darwin resident as our guide. She explained that she was not a horticultural expert at all she is just a Gardens enthusiast. A pleasant way to see the Gardens.
