Pedal Phnom Penh: Half-Day Silk Island Cycle & Culture

This bike ride was a great day to spend our final day in Phnom Penh. It was nice to get some exercise in and take in the local life. The silk making was a specific highlight.

It was a very beautiful ride. Learned a lot about the silk islands and tofu skin manufacturing process. Highly recommend.

Very nice ride in the Mekong rivers Islands. Takes about half a day. Kim was a very nice guide. The bikes were good. Very enjoyable to cycle in the islands just a short boat trip away from Phnom Penh.

We had a great morning of cycling with our guide Seer. It was just the two of us. Some fun ferry crossings, some street riding and lots of (mostly paved) countryside cycling. We try to do a cycling tour wherever we go and this one did not disappoint.

Tina is a great, personable guide! With good humor, he provided insights about local life on Silk island while attending to our safety and hydration. We saw country village life and got exercise too. Siem Reaper travel provided mountain bikes that were good quality for the varied terrain. If you enjoy biking, I highly recommend it.

The tour is the best activity we did in Phnom Penh. We booked through Get Your Guide. Our guide was KIM. He is very polite and knowledgeable. And keeps us safe throughout the bike tour. Pace was good and there were ample stops to rest and discover things. The bike tour gave us insights into how the Cambodians live as we cycle through the local spots.

An amazing trip from beginning to start. A young company ran by independent young Cambodian people. Cycling over to Silk Island via ferries to peaceful roads. One of our riders opted out and was given a choice of a vespa ride with the group which she thoroughly enjoyed. Always there to please and go over and beyond. Very Informative and well spoken english guides. A pleasure to be in their company. Well done team.

To sum up it was amazing. Mon did a great job with all the storytelling, rules and regulations. The mekong and Silk island was serene, peaceful for cycling adventure. The place is meant to be. If you are in phnom penh then you must do this. What's a better way to start your day with cycling and exploring around the different aspects of Cambodia.
