Chinese cemetery, the Khmer Rouge, lead by Pol Pot, turned the place into
what became known as the killing fields, where they executed around 20.000 victim. Over three years they massacred and
buried 2.5 million people. After remembering the dead, return to Phnom Penh to visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21). Meaning hill of the poisonous trees, Pol Pot turned a once popular
high school into a high security prison. 20,000 people were imprisoned
there, many of whom were tortured for information. Today it serves as a
museum and a reminder of darker days.

Ох, тяжёлые впечатления, но визит того стоит 👍 гид рассказывал очень интересно, но и сами экспонаты поражают воображение. В общем, стоит того, если вы любите историю 👍

Хотя эта экскурсия не принесла никакого удовольствия, мы считали необходимым, находясь в Пномпене, в какой-то мере понять историю этого действительно ужасного периода камбоджийской истории и воздать должное миллионам погибших людей. ЧИТ наш гид был очень осведомленным и уважительным.

Очень добрый и руководство по знаниям. Время было нормально. Автобус и водитель были в порядке. Достаточно было двух направлений в одной поездке.

Глубоко мучительный, но важный опыт. Наш гид Чит был фантастическим, явно хорошо образованным по этой теме и проделал огромную работу, чтобы мы все чувствовали себя спокойно, несмотря на тяжесть темы.

Это была интересная и отрезвляющая экскурсия. Наш гид г-н Чит предоставил нам много информации об истории и зверствах, от которых пострадал народ Камбоджи. Это была экскурсия, за которую стоило денег, и рекомендовали бы ее. Пометили только звезду, потому что когда нас забрали из отеля, гиды не разговаривали с нами в автобусе, они просто разговаривали друг с другом, и было непонятно, что происходит. При этом, как только был собран последний пассажир, мистер Чит все четко объяснил. Я только поднял этот вопрос, так как мы были во многих экскурсиях, и гиды часто дадут вам знать планы с самого начала, даже если это для уточнения подхватов.

Очень поучительный тур, охватывающий трагически недавнюю и поистине душераздирающую главу XX века. Наш гид, Чит, дал нам ценную информацию об исторической истории и человеческих историях, лежащих в основе событий, развернувшихся в Пномпене. Я высоко оценила сбалансированность информации и то время, которое он предоставил нам для размышления в нашем собственном темпе, для того, чтобы своими глазами увидеть доказательства, которые уже собраны, а также для того, чтобы встретиться с выжившими. Каждый посетитель Пномпеня должен найти время, чтобы увидеть и узнать об этих объектах. Остается только восхищаться стойкостью и силой Камбоджи в преодолении последствий такой трагедии.

Так рад, что мы смогли провести тур, хотя и очень тяжелый и мучительный. Мистер Чит был действительно великолепным, впечатляющим и добрым проводником. Очень бы рекомендовал. Мы удивлены тем, как далеко Камбоджа продвинулась за прошедшие с тех пор ~ 40 лет, и нам очень понравилось наше пребывание в этой прекрасной стране.
