Caves Ambacia, Tour and Wine Tasting in Amboise, Loire Valley

Мы забронировали экскурсию по погребу с дегустацией вин. Экскурсия, как мне показалось, была не совсем экскурсией. В начале нам немного рассказали про производство и историю, после чего было дано время прогуляться по погребу самостоятельно. Как нам объяснили, своих виноградников у Амбасия нет, так что они покупают сырьё на разных виноградниках, и доводят всё до готового продукта уже на месте. В качестве развлечения нам предложили вслепую определить, какие запахи мы сможем распознать, а также самостоятельно найти бутылки в погребе, с годом производства, равному нашему году рождения. Здорово, конечно, но хотелось чего-то более информативного. Сама дегустация проходила достаточно весело, за счёт большой и очень весёлой компании ребят из Нидерландов, которые были вместе с нами. Мы продегустировали 6 вин. Последнее вино, как показалось, в дегустационный план не входило (а может и входило - кто же его знает!) - вино 1990 года. Его мы и приобрели, хоть оно и стоило 45 евро. По вкусу хорошее, выдержанное вино, ну просто ни с чем не сравнить! К вину подали небольшие сырные и мясные закуски. Козий твёрдый сыр был лучшим, что мы тут попробовали, после вина 1990 года. Интересное место, хорошая атмосфера. Ставлю твёрдую 4-ку, т.к. дегустация стоит тут на потоке. Туристов много, и всё будто превратилось в некую коммерцию, где цель - за наименьшее время обслужить как можно больше людей.

This was a very educational experience. I came away having learned a ton about wine, tasting, and pairings. The guy who led it was incredibly knowledgeable. The pairings are cheese and meat (optional of course). If any food restrictions, just tell them. Really a great time. Recommended.

Wow, great tour, super old caves, great wine. The owner loved his place and the passion showed. There is a nice wine bar for drinks and lunch as well. It was a short walk from the train station. There was a great view of the Loire river as we crossed the bridge.
