Full Day Group Tour - Viña Del Mar-Valparaiso -Casablanca -Reñaca

My husband and I really enjoyed the Valparaiso and Viña del Mar tour with Leandro and Jose. Leandro is very knowledgeable and easily gave information in English and Spanish. The stops were fascinating and the details from Leandro were very interesting. The walking tour in Valparaiso was beautiful and impressive. The beach and Roca Oceania were beautiful stops. The restaurant was very good, although a little expensive. The value was outstanding.

Great day trip from Santiago. A completely different climate, we needed layers! First stop, Casablanca was a big snooze. Giant dining rooms and one little breakfast counter. The wine tasting was underwhelming. That said, the Valparaiso walking tour is fantastic if you are a fan of street art. So much to see and enjoy. Our guide, Lorenzo was fantastic, keeping us informed of cultural norms and local history in English and Spanish all along. The bus driver José did a great job and kept us safe. Lunch was at a wonderful seafood restaurant across from the beach.

Leandro was very engaging and nice, and José was a great driver. The locations we visited were definitely interesting and fun. There were, however, a few issues that made the tour less appealing to me than expected. The bus picked up every participant at their individual location, which for me meant driving around in circles for more than an hour in the city center where I was staying — a bit annoying. An even bigger issue was that when we returned to the city, instead of offering to drop us off in the city center, the driver passed right by it and continued to another part of Santiago. We ended up driving around for more than an hour for no real reason before being dropped off at home. The tour turned into 13 hours instead of the 10 advertised. Picking people up at a few major locations in the city seems like a much better idea. We also didn’t receive instructions for the trip until very late the night before, and I was already in bed when they were sent. I also wish the tour had been a bit more informative, and the restaurant we visited wasn’t very good.

Expectations set incorrectly. Not “small group” tour as the description says. Huge group with 45 people in a coach bus. Pickups lasted ~1.5h. First pickup at 630. Didn’t leave town till almost 8. Holiday caused highway closure so drive went from 1.5h to 3h and caused us to skip Casablanca stop. While out of the control of the tour, they knew of the closure yet didn’t inform us of the change in agenda in advance and the new stop was 45m at a gas station instead of wine tasting in Casablanca. Inexcusable - They could have come up with a better plan than that. Vina Del Mar was fine. They just let us out of the bus and free time for 2h for lunch. Walking tour in Valparaiso was great but with such a large group, difficult to consistently hear the guide. But missed expectations and 6:30am-~10pm with tour left bad experience.

Everything was well executed. Pickup, tour and drop-off was great. Leandro was a great guide, very informative, upbeat and helpful. The coach ride was smooth and safe.

Val Paraiso Generally said we had a good day. Leandro was a nice guide with some sense of humour. Val Paraiso is definetely worth to see. Unfortunately our tour was on Dec 8, which is a catholic festival. Therefore the route 68 was closed. Wasn‘t that predictable? We could not see Casablanca, had no wine or oliveoil tasting. Shouldn‘t we have been informed prior to that? Finally because of the traffic and the long detour we had to take, our tour became a 15 hours trip, instead of 10.

Ignacio was a nice guy and even though I am fluent in both Spanish and English, he spoke way too fast or didn't enunciate well in English as I heard other people complain that they couldn't understand him. The walking tour of Valparaiso was nice but I wish we could have spent more time in Viña del Mar.

Tour in general was great, the restaurant could be better, otherwise it would be good to have freedom to choose the restaurant.

We had a great time. They were on time, took is to all the places as mentioned and dropped us back to a place we wanted to go. The guide was friendly and explained all the sights to us quite well.

A great day out seeing the sights of Viña del mar and Valparaíso with our informative guide Leandro and Jose our driver. Evenbdid a wine tasting in the morning for breakfast.
