Miramare Castle and the park

A nice little gem just a short ride from Trieste. The house is full of items to gaze upon all around you. The park is also a nice little stroll.

The weather was pretty bad, raining at times, nonetheless we found the castle and the gardens were just amazingly beautiful. The story behind this was very interesting as well

Very beautiful palace with a great garden. Reminds me a little of the palace garden in Schönbrunn. Extremely beautiful view of the sea. Good seating with a great view.

I loved my tour guide…very knowledgeable and very nice! Lupos was 5 stars as was the Castle and the park.

A bit of a walk from the road but we'll worth it. What a stunning castle & grounds, hanging off the cliff side. What a way they must have lived. Definitely worth a half day.

Very pleasant time spent in the castle as well as in the park around the castle. The ticket is 12 Euros. The accommodation is by the sea and the view is fantastic from every room. 10 minutes from the city center

You can not go to Trieste and not visit this beautiful castle! It should be a requirement of any visit. I was born in Trieste and ensure I do at least one visit of the castle and it’s garden each time I go back. In recent years a new director of the park has revitalised the place and helped to return it to it’s former glory. Definitely visit and go inside of you have never done so. It’s magical and the story of its creation and history is both tragic and beautiful

It was very pretty and great castle experience. Views from inside and outside of the castle were amazing. Nice photos can be made easily.
