Zermatt Summer Ski: Private Glacier Masterclass!

Last season I took lessons from several instructors from PDS Ari, Alya, Gareth, and later on Simon. Every single one of them was exceptional! I also LOVE Simon's instagram account (@the_ski_instructor) where he constantly shares great ski tips! Each instructor immediately understood where I was in my learning curve and built on it with exactly the right mix of patience, challenge, and fun. Their observations were spot-on, their feedback clear and doable, I progressed far more quickly than I expected and always felt completely safe and supported! They also filmed parts of my skiing and gave feedback on the videos, which helped me improve even faster. On top of the technical expertise, the whole team is incredibly friendly, chilled, and genuinely great to spend time with! I’ve taken lessons in other resorts before, but PDS is honestly is the best! You make the MOST out of your time & money. I booked more lessons every day it was worth every penny:) I can’t wait to come back and continue learning with them! ❤️

My fiancee and I went skiing the last days of november, with almost null experience, the trainer Annemarie teached us, great communication, gently and very patient, great attitude while teaching, she also helped me doing the proposal to my fiancee after the class! She also took amazing pictures of us. Definitely recommended service.

I only had a half day free in Zermatt, and everyone says to go ski! I follow PDS on Instagram and thought a lesson would be a perfect zermatt day - I had Ari as my instructor, and not only did we have great weather and conditions, we had a perfect afternoon! He helped with some skill and form issues with drills, and then we ski! Great feedback, he took many videos of me so I could see what I was doing and when I corrected my form. I had absolutely the most perfect day, I recommend Ari 100%.

I can’t recommend Jo at PDS highly enough for any level of skier — from beginners to advanced. She is incredibly skilled, patient, and fun, and she made every moment on the mountain an absolute joy. I also want to highlight her language skills - we had a mixed group of German and English-speaking skiers and Jo could easily switch between languages, helping everyone in their native language. Jo knew all the best runs in Zermatt and tailored the day perfectly to our abilities while still helping us improve with confidence. We had such a fantastic time, and thanks to Jo our Zermatt vacation became truly unforgettable. If you’re booking lessons, ask for Jo — she’s amazing! 🙌⛷️

This was an incredible experience! Would definitely recommend PDS to anyone traveling to Zermatt and looking to ski. If you’re lucky enough to be able to work with Ari as your instructor, all the better! I booked a solo 3-hour lesson and was very much at a beginner level. Ari made me feel comfortable from start to finish but also really helped me progress throughout the lesson so that by the end of it we were actually skiing down runs together (rather than learning basics on the sidelines). I’ve had other lessons in the alps and genuinely felt I gained more from this one lesson with Ari than I had previously learned in all of my past lessons combined. Great way to spend a day in Zermatt!

Our instructor was Annemarie and she was awesome. Good tips, very friendly and could halo me and my friend at the same time in different levels. I recommend!

Bozhin is an amazing ski instructor — very patient, friendly, and encouraging. He explains techniques clearly and always makes sure you feel safe and confident on the slopes. We learned a lot in a short time and really enjoyed the lessons. Highly recommended!

Today we had a skii lesson with the instructor annemarie. She was an amazing teacher, we got the hang of what she taught us very quickly even tho its our first time skiing,she was very understandable and kind and she made this experience fun for us,we're glad she taught us and we had a beautiful experience with her.

Oh my goodness Annemarie was literally the best instructor of all time. So kind, patient, and fun to talk to! Made me feel so comfortable on the slopes and made it the best time ever!! I will request her every-time i come back!!🩷🩷

Bozhin was my instructor for a morning of pro training, ahead of BASI level 2 exam. Eek! I can’t recommend him enough. He was even keen to ski whatever the weather. His patience, enthusiasm and encouragement were invaluable - not to mention his mega skiing ⛷️ 🔥 We did loads of video analysis and some good drills, I felt like my skiing ability was coming back quickly thanks to his instructing. Thank you so much Bozhin, if you’re looking for a snowsports savage to get you skiing like a ninja in record time… he’s your guy.
