Breathtaking Slovenia: Lake Bled & Ljubljana Day Trip from Zagreb

This day trip was absolutely spectacular from start to finish! Lake Bled was magical in person—the calm water, the charming island church, and the breathtaking views from the castle made it feel like a real-life fairytale. Our guide, Marin, truly made the experience exceptional. He was incredibly kind, very prompt, and impressively informative throughout the entire journey. His deep knowledge of Slovenia’s history, culture, and hidden gems added so much richness to the trip, and his warm personality made everyone feel welcome and well cared for. Ljubljana was the perfect final stop. The city is beautiful on its own, but visiting during the Christmas season made it absolutely unforgettable. The Christnas market was glowing with festive lights, charming stalls, delicious treats, and a cozy holiday atmosphere. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough—perfectly organized, paced well, and enriched by an outstanding guide. If you’re visiting Slovenia, this day trip is a must!

Great guide Lucas service superb and beautiful attraction however it was raining during the trip hence it would have been better if no rain

Had a wonderful day travelling solo as my husband was ill. Felt comfortable the whole day and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Marin our guide and driver was sensational and a wealth of knowledge. Having free time at both locations was great. Ljubljana was beautiful and the drive from there to Bled was stunning with the snow capped mountains in front of us.

It exceeded our expectations. Patrick was knowledgeable, warm, funny and attentive. He is an incredible driver too. The 2 hours drive was easy and comfortable. Thank you, Patrick! You are a good man.

It is a great day tour . Lukas is very knowledgeable, gave us a lot of information about the city and the country. He is also an excellent driver and also patience with us as my husband walked very slowly. The scenery is very beautiful! . It is really worthy to visit one more country in a day trip . This tour was amazing! We really enjoyed visiting Ljubljana and Lake Bled. Ljubljana was a very clean and beautiful village. The day we went there was a wine festival. We took the funicular to the top of the mountain and toured the castle. The sausage was delicious! Lake Bled was stunning. We toured that castle way up high on the cliff. The views were stunning. Of course we tried the famous Lake Bled Cake! Our tour guide, Dado, was a wealth of information! He was a definite pro at giving us this tour. I highly recommend this tour!!!

Beautiful, well planned tour. It was very relaxing, and its really worth an experience even just for a day. Our guide, Marin was excellent and knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely would recommend this tour as well as Pathfinders team!

Brilliant trip, well worth doing, Dado was great and it was a full day, nearly 12 hours based on traffic, Lake Bled is absolutely amazing and should be on everyone's bucket list, Ljubljana is a must visit, such a lovely town, the two visits on this trip should not be missed, it was one of the highlights of our Croatia trip. It does look on the surface expensive, but when you actually do it you can see why it is expensive. Dado was great and knew all the historical facts and was very easy to talk to.

What a fabulous day. Marko lead us on an adventure of history, culture and beauty. He shared many stories as we travelled, making the stops and travel well balanced and enjoyable. We learnt of the Croatian abs Slovenian cultural background and connection. Marko was an exceptionally great guide.
